RE: Walmart To Take On Amazon In Streaming?

in LeoFinance9 months ago

This is interesting, but I think they might be late to the game already. Streaming services are hurting right now. With the quick advancements in AI video, it is possible that streaming services like Netflix can disappear soon. I think the only way for them to succeed is to offer media that isn't political, and follows the original source closely.

They do but we have to remember these companies have other business units to leverage the streaming services. Does Amazon have to make money off it? Not if it increases their business elsewhere.

I guess that's true. My family has Amazon Prime, and they are reaping the benefits of it in the other offerings of Amazon. It will be interesting if Walmart follows Amazon's blueprint.

Yeah. Try to imagine your family, since the utilize Amazon, going without prime.

I looked at the benefits, and I am surprised that there isn't really much that they use. They mostly use it for the fast delivery. They barely watch Prime video, and they can do without the prime music.
