A lot of regular investors lose money on leveraging. Just imagining it with a highly volatile asset like BTC, then it sounds a bit scary. I wouldn't even be surprised if they manipulate it in the future. With how the government and Wall Street are going, I wonder if crypto as a decentralized asset will ever be realized. As soon as one becomes very popular, the two entities can just scoop up a large portion of what is available and it slowly becomes centralized.

Yes they do. Leveraged ETFs are not a good deal for the average person but, hey, people can do what they want.

People have to want it. So many are just looking for price go up, they want anything to happen that pumps their bags.

If that remains the case, then I would say things lean towards more centralization.
