You made a really good point on the transparency of crypto to aid in the AI revolution. We are already seeing different ways on how AI can be used illegally and maliciously. The security and openness of crypto solves a lot of that, and can give protection to different users.
Well illegally is an interesting term since the laws are not designed for this technology.
We saw this with Crypto and Gary Gensler, applying securities laws to digital assets. Doesnt really work.
Same with AI. We are entering a new realm. Politicians need to create legislation that is applicable. Sadly, they tend to be financed by the incumbents.
There are already anti deepfake laws in place. California had it way back in 2019, and there are other states as well. UK passed it in 2023, and other countries are also working on it already.
