I'm not a fan of Tiktok, but this move by the US congress leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I can understand if they will require stricter compliance for Tiktok, but actually forcing them to sell/buy is a bit outrageous. This can set a precedent and they can possibly do this to other companies that they want to control. Hive and Web3 is more resilient against this, so hopefully more apps join us as protest against this.
