I agree with a lot of the things you said. But I think there needs to be a balance. I remember when Meta introduced Threads. Initially no one was using it. But when celebrities tried it out, that is when a lot of people followed. One of the problems though, was that they didn't want to recreate all the connections they already established in Twitter; the followers, and the accounts they follow. I think the celebrities stopped using them, because a majority of their followers didn't use Threads.

Having the service is important, but I still believe more users are also necessary.
