RE: Media Industry Getting Hit: Opportunity For Web 3.0

in LeoFinancelast year

I think this was the expected outcome for print media, and news. Back when I was reading the newspaper I would just go to specific topics that I like, like Sports. When they changed to digital, I only ever went to news sites for the big news to try to get different angles of the story. Some of them requiring fees doesn't help. Eventually, news stories and updates started to appear to different websites. If you want sports news, there are sites like NBA.com, or Yahoo Sports. If you want a specific team's updates, they have their own website that have insider info as well.

This is what Hive can do, but difficult to emulate. Those writers and people with insider information can cost a lot. An insider risks getting fired by sharing it outside their organization, or are better compensated by going to big name corporations.
