I'm happy that we are finally getting Smart Contracts now, but I am a bit bummed that both are coming out at almost the same time. It would have been great if we had them earlier, but the next best time is always now. It is also just in time for the halving, and the bull run. Lite accounts seem great for onboarding new users.
I agree with everything you said, lol. I believe the two teams will approach smart contracts from different angles, and that's often a good thing. Plus, great for decentralization. VSC will be here much sooner than what Blocktrades will be building for smart contracts, that's for sure. Blocktrades said a couple of weeks before they have an idea what they will be building. But they might come out with an application for lite accounts much sooner.
I don't have much idea about Blocktrade's, but I was impressed with what VSC is going to put out.
Yep, we all are. And it didn't take too long to build either, with a small team (only vaultec at first, now 5).
