A few weeks ago I started to sell out on some of my secondary tokens into Hive and been powering up gradually. I now mainly hold HP and hoping to grow my stack back into breakeven. My breakeven point is where I have earned my HP amount based on author and curation rewards. That number stands at: 29,138 HP and 3927 HP respectively. It means I need to get over 33,000 HP to consider breakeven for all that I have earned through the years.
Now of course I did not spend it all. Silly me went on power downs to buy into things that never came to profitability outside of Hive ecosystem and Splinterlands. Majority of that went to Luna/Terra and a whole host of game projects that essentially failed. What helped me the most in gains were continue growth of Splinterlands and side projects on Hive such as Bro and DAB/DBOND and Hiveupme. Swapping out of those secondary assets back into mostly HP I am paying back into the system and hoping to earn a higher stake. The end goal here is to cash into HP and HBD and grow it passively to the point where I have sufficient crypto to reinvest back into things I like the most such as Splinterlands. In the past I have relied mainly on Splinterland's passive incomes to purchase more but now I want to diversify and have Hive help out in that passive income too.
For the past month, August 2025, I was able to stash away close to 2500 Hive into HP. This is nearly 10% of my overall net worth of HP which breaks multiple personal records. Still I won't be able to match this amount because majority of my holdings outside HP has been sold. To replicate this I would need secondary tokens of Splinterlands to moon! Heck I can dream can't I?
Another little achievement I made was in the course of most of August I had been consistent with authoring posts. Most recent week I barely plugged into the computer so did not post as much but prior weeks more than five a week. I hope to continue this in order to at least break even of my target goal of 33k HP.
The strategies are very simple, continue posting and curating while playing Splinterlands and Moon. Moon will earn my close to nothing but I like seeing my account grow and hopefully reach in the top 10 players within the next month. Meanwhile on Splinterlands continue to grow my Foundation card series as long as its all free to play.
