The gaming experience has different levels as you explore new sides of Splinterlands. The upcoming Lands 1.5 will be more fun and profitable for those who are more interested in the side of Lands than in the battles. The game has turned into a whole ecosystem that serves several types of games within a single game.
The ones who are into the concepts, such as growing some resources trading them to build a sustainable production cycle, are leaning towards the lands, whereas those who love card games keep pushing hard to climb the tiers for more challenging and rewarding battles.
In the heart of the game, we came for the battles with our decks. Thus, the earnings from the battles, which are ratings, $SPS, and Glint, play an important role in our Splinterlands experience. Thus, I want to dive into the side of it.
In Silver 2, I receive around the number of Rating, SPS, and Glint as I gave above. Actually, only SPS is a token that has a "direct" value in USD on Hive Engine. However, the ratings bring you chests, which include several in-game items as you level up, and the Glint tokens are the mystery boxes of the game, as they can bring you specific types and levels of cards, chests, titles, and resources in GWEN’S GLINT SHOP.
To maximize the fun side of my experience, I have focused on using the glint tokens to own at least level 1 of all Rebelion Reward cards, to try in the battles at least for once, I directed my attention to the chests as they might be the most exciting side with surprises.
League Tier Advancement Chests by Splinterlands
According to the official post by Splinterlands, the chests are full of Energy, potions, cards, and merit tokens. The only concern of mine is actually getting potions from the chests, as they do not provide me with new options like the others.
If I get Merit, I pile up to 2000 tokens and buy a Gladius case directly. At the end of each season, I can combine all of Gladius cards as below 👇
For the hardcore players, Energy can be a good source in the higher tiers. As you level up, both Glint and SPS earnings increase accordingly.
For the reward cards, you need to decide if you want to burn them for Glints again or combine them all like Gladius to have stronger cards in the battles. I do not combine them all, just level up the ones I frequently use.
I do not think we need to talk about the jackpot because it might be the most satisfactory thing ever can be earned in a loot chest. According to the prizes, the least you can get might be a Chaos Legion pack that is worth $0.4 at the moment. Considering the titles, gold foil legendary cards, lands, and other packs, a single loot chest may have a real treasury for you!
