A New Era Of Marketing Unveiled.

in LeoFinancelast year

The evolution in the digital space is too much to go unnoticed, and you will all agree with me that the transformation from Web2 to Web3 came with lots of upgrades that many of us are enjoying today. Web3 opened our eyes to a lot of things that could have been done better on Web2, and I am happy to be not just a witness but also a benefactor of Web3.

The awesomeness of the decentralization that Web3 brought to the table turned out to be a game changer, and nothing feels better than being in control of your space in the digital world. A good percentage of the world population engages with the digital space every day, but the whole experience is different because Web3 is offering us more than Web2 can ever do.

Marketing on Web2 and Web3 is on different levels, and a lot of Web3 users today can give testimonies about it. Sadly, a lot of people are still stuck with Web3 because they don't know about it, while some even know but don't think everything they have heard about it can be true.

A decentralized marketplace has become something many people enjoy today with the help of blockchain technology, and it's changing a lot of things in the digital space. Among the things we enjoy are having the privilege to do peer-to-peer transactions, which put banks and different financial bodies away, tokenized assets, which enable the representation of real life assets in digital tokens on the blockchain, and many others, which have taken marketing on Web3 to a whole new height.

I saw an item for sale online a few days ago and was able to reach out to the seller. We started negotiating and finally agreed on a price, but at the point of paying him before the goods could be delivered, the thought of Web3 crossed my mind because if we had met on a Web3 platform, I would have paid him directly here instead of involving a third party just to make payment.

For some time, I sold mobile data, and the majority of my customers were members of Hive. Everything involving the trade starts here and ends here as well since I can receive Hive tokens as payment, which is something you can't get on Web 2.

Marketing on Web3 eliminates the need for intermediaries, unlike Web2, which depend on these intermediaries that collects and have control over their users data. Web3 stands out for me because it gives users control over their data.

With my little experience on Web3, I realized that Web3 takes community engagement very seriously, and I doubt if there are more reasonable ways to do marketing in the digital space than building trust with the power of engagement and interaction between sellers and buyers.

It's not like it happens on Web2, where influencers come on board to convince people on behalf of the seller just to push their products. On Web3, the engagement among members in different communities is enough as long as the seller has built a good reputation on the blockchain.

Let's take Holozing has an example because it's perfect to describe how awesome Web3 has made marketing. Hive as a community has helped promoted the Holozing project because @acidyo the founder of the Web3 game has built a good reputation by engaging and supporting different communities on the blockchain. He has built trust with his reputation which is enough to create the perfect awareness about the Holozing project.

Finally, the transparency on Web3 is exceptional, and this has helped many users on Web3 make decisions about products. The high level of transparency has fostered trust, and people can be very sure of what they are getting into.

As a Hive user, you might be wondering where you fall in all of these categories. As content creators, we are all into content marketing on Web3. Creating awesome content and having genuine engagement with other members of the platform can and has drawn our target audience, which explains how Web3 has made marketing quite easy for us all.

I wouldn't call myself a professional graphic designer, but I love to play with designs, and Canva has been very helpful. I love to make personal designs for my blog posts, which has helped me develop over the years.

Sometime last year, I joined a graphic design competition on Hive, and surprisingly, I came in first. It was unexpected, and that has inspired me to keep doing my little designs while I improve at them. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't have had any reason to nurture this skill without my engagement on Web3.

This is my entry for today's prompt, and the initiative is open to every member of the Hive community, so feel free to check the announcement post
