RE: Dollar vs. Yen - Why the Yen is Crashing

in LeoFinancelast year

This means investors around the world would rather park their money in the U.S., where they get a higher return.

Let us not forget that, higher returns are because of higher risks.

Japan has one big problem: debt.

Agree.

Japan is the largest foreign holder of U.S. debt, with holdings of approximately $1.1 trillion.

It is important to keep in mind that everything has a cycle. The US has enjoyed tremendous growth in wealth for many years. It's been like 14 years since a major cycle change so we are long overdue for US$ decline. A decline that could be 5 to 10 years. The writing has been on the wall for many years for the US to address their ever increasing debt load. The current administration knows this and wants to do something about it but does not have the expertise to make it happen. They are actually making things worst for the whole world.

Best to sell YEN and buy some #TooFuckeh problem solving tokens. !LOLZ

I created PEPT Sovereign Wealth Fund SWF for the purpose of addressing the impact on world wealth because of US$ losing its buying power.
