Yes, it will be interesting to see how it plays out. I've heard the basic things you also pointed out, like the adaptation of jobs: they won't disappear completely, human workers will have to develop "AI skills", just like we had to develop "computer skills" before. However, it becomes uncertain whether AI will get to the point of completely replacing humans. Perhaps if we look at the bigger picture, AI will force humanity to move to a new economic system, in which we should probably expect a temporary and transitory crisis.
