My mom is in a bit of a 'fued' with her two sisters. To put it mildly, they're not on talking terms currently. I find it crazy and have tried to intervene but they seem he'll Bent on settling in their own time, if ever, so I've decided to let sleeping dogs lie.
It is of particular concern for me simply because growing up they were inseparable. Sure, they have had their ups and downs over the years but certainly not to the point of not speaking to each other. Usually I won't be so worried about such conflicts as it is to be expected even within family. However, what is worrying are the circumstances that led to their current situation.
Hurtful Words were said that am quite certain they'd all regret saying. I don't know if they'd ever be able to get back to how they've been since we were kids. My cousin's and other siblings aren't helping matters either. None of them seems particularly bothered with the fued and have more of less moved on from the thought of an active intervention.
One thing that I've promised myself is that even when I experience unique circumstances like this, I'll always try and remember the good deeds of the past on my way to forgiveness and healing. I've tried to remind my mom, but it seems for now she's in no mood to listen. We'll see how long it'll take before they all get past this.
