Hello all! Another week down, Christmas is here, and it's time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I'm going to look at the progress I've made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I'm looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we'll get to that too.

We might call this the Christmas edition! It is Christmas day here where I'm at, but it's also a normal day. My kids have left for school as I write this and I have work later. We allowed them to open some of their presents last night, and they ripped open the rest this morning before getting school. Much more playing is to come I assume.

Anyway, this is a normal day for me, so on with the show.

Let's start with my Hive goals.

~ Hive & HBD ~

My current goal is 25k Hive.

This past week I made 208.35, bringing me to 21349 total Hive Power. That's 85.4% of my goal!

Ok, I don't think we need to do the math to figure out that my chances of making it to 25k before the end of the year are slim to null. I don't have the ability to deposit enough fiat to take me there, and unless a whale reading this is feeling really really nice, I'm probably not going to be gifted the difference. Oh well. One more week before the end of the year, so we'll see how close I can get.

For next week's post, which will be the day before New Years, I will do kind of a summery of this past year and a look forward. For next year I'll try to set my goals a bit more realistically, but also include some stretch goals.

~ BRO, PIMP, & LGN ~

I've stopped buying LGN since passing my goal which was 2k, but I still do have some coming in from multiple places, putting me at 2.8 gained last week. For anyone else, if you want to buy one token, this is the one to get. Last week in the Mancave, Ray hinted that after he personally buys a decent chunk of the tokens next year he may burn the rest. If that happens, the value of these may immediately jump.

Moving to a token which already had several million of its supply burned and thus has increased in value to a crazy amount, I didn't buy any BRO either last week, but I did gain some, earning 0.154, which puts me at 524.36 total or 52.4% of my goal.

As for PIMP, I did buy a little. I earned a little too. All together I increased my stake 1296.6339, putting me at 62992.02 — 63.0% of my goal.

I never had a time limit on these goals, but I may reset them with the coming year. We'll see what I come up with when I do my planning.

~ Other Tokens? ~

Any other tokens any of you are looking at?

~ Silver ~

You may remember that my silver goal is just to pick up something silver related every week. Usually I fail this goal, but sometimes I hit it. This past week I hit it as well, picking up this.

Everyone is so excited about all the dragon coins we are getting next year, so it almost feels like I am being a contrarian by picking up an Ox year coin instead. But this was what the coin shop had, so I went with it.

That stuff out of the way, let's do our SBI drawing! If you are new here, I give away 5 shares of SBI every week to commenters on this post. If I get under five commenters, I try to divide it up as best as possible, and if I get over five, I do a random drawing.
