Have you looked at some of the spec on these chips. They suck an enormous amount of power.
Data centers consume a few percent of all electricity in the US.
this also means much work will be needed for this sector. Reducing energy consumption will be important for a wide spread adoption.
NVIDIA is rolling out more energy efficient GPUs with each new generation. That is a potential bottleneck that has to be resolved.
