I totally disagree and why I sold all my AVA. I have looked on 5 different occasions to use Travala for bookings and they are too expensive. I can fid flights and hotel bookings 30% cheaper elsewhere ad they are by far he most expensive option. The only use case I see them is if you have loads of crypto and are not declaring and is a way of spending (laundering) your crypto. I wish they had something to offer, but genuinely the prices are not competitive and will not be the travel token we hoped for.
Every time i found something the exact same room cheaper i send them a message and they booked me with the same price but that has happened 2-3 times and i have used the platform a lot i am booking every stay there. Yes they air tickets were expensive but it's way better now and with my smart program i am getting 13% off out of every booking 5% discount from my smart platinum 3% percent by paying in ava and 3% by paying with ava.
Ok that helps but surely to get AVA mainstream the prices need to be the same before discounts. Not everyone using this is going to see the discounts you are getting and why people give up and look elsewhere.
Yes that is true but that will happen with more partnerships and with more hotels in the platform but still the revenues and the growth is great and the increasing crypto adoption will also help.
I must say I am not as bullish on this as you are and why I sold off over a year ago. I think the team has missed so many opportunities and the other travel companies wo are far bigger will have their own crypto shortly. I know Trivago and it's sister company were in discussions with COTI not long ago.
