Question about POOLS?
This is just out of curiosity , something that personally intrigues me.

I saw on Tribaldex that you can create a pool for 1000 BEE, but I don’t really understand one thing:
What does the pool creator actually gain from it?
Because people can withdraw anytime they want, while the creator is the one giving away tokens in return — sometimes one, sometimes two, sometimes a bunch of others… It’s confusing.
I’m not planning to create one myself, but it got me thinking.
Why would someone pay 1000 BEE + 100 BEE to launch their own token, just to open a pool?

At the current rate, that’s about 545 HIVE.
And if, on top of that, the creator has to invest, let’s say, 50.01% of the pool to remain the majority holder, it gets tricky.
Let’s take an example:
- The creator sets their token at 1 SWAP.HIVE
- They mint 1000 tokens
To keep control, they’d need to put 500 of their own tokens + 500 SWAP.HIVE of their own funds.
Result:
1000 SWAP.HIVE + 545 HIVE for creating the pool and the token.
That’s roughly 1545 SWAP.HIVE, or about $280.

And that’s just the startup cost.
Because for a token to actually hold value on the market, the creator usually has to support the market themselves at first — by buying their own token to balance supply and demand.
So, add another $280 on top.
Let’s sum it up:
Just to get a decent start, you’d need to invest at least $560 (and that’s being modest).
That’s roughly 3,030 HIVE in total.

So, how does the pool creator actually make a profit in the end?
Where’s the hidden benefit, the “win” that justifies such an investment?
Because right now, it feels more like a gamble than a profitable strategy…
If someone could shed some light on this?
It really intrigues me!
