Podcasts processing
I’ve recently started feeding #LeoAI with transcriptions of podcasts, and it’s been an exciting experiment. The idea is to take high-value audio content and convert it into text so that LeoAI can digest and process it. This makes the knowledge more searchable and accessible, while also allowing AI to learn from long-form discussions. It’s also a way to preserve ideas that might otherwise get buried in audio archives. By turning speech into text, we’re opening the door to new insights and deeper analysis.
The great thing is that AI is actively listening and transcribing, which saves a ton of time compared to doing it manually. Instead of spending hours typing out episodes word for word, the transcription process is automated. While it’s not always perfect, the speed and efficiency more than make up for minor errors. The end result is a usable text document that can be cleaned up and then fed directly into LeoAI. This workflow keeps the project moving without unnecessary bottlenecks.
Starting with financial topics
I started with the Hidden Forces Podcast, which is known as one of the most thoughtful economics podcasts out there. The show dives deep into markets, geopolitics, finance, and big-picture ideas about how the world works. It’s the kind of content that rewards repeated listening, so having transcripts makes it even more valuable.
So far, I’ve managed to transcribe 450 episodes in total, with 148 of them already fed into #LeoAI. That’s a massive amount of knowledge being uploaded and processed, and it’s only the beginning. Every transcript is like a puzzle piece, adding more depth to the overall dataset. Over time, this will give LeoAI a rich base of economic and financial content to analyze.
If you have a recommendation for another podcast that would be worth transcribing and feeding into LeoAI, feel free to comment. Suggestions are always welcome, especially if you know of shows that focus on economics, technology, or long-term thinking.
Outlook
The next step is to start fetching a news podcast regularly and feeding those transcriptions into #LeoAI. Adding a layer of real-time context that can be incredibly useful. Combining evergreen economic discussions with current events would give LeoAI both depth and immediacy. Automating the process of pulling in news transcripts would also ensure the system stays up-to-date without manual effort. This could make LeoAI not just insightful, but also responsive to what’s happening in the world.
