Plastics can destroy the human race

in LeoFinance9 months ago

The reality is that plastics can destroy the human race and maybe the entire living beings on the planet. Today I read an interesting article on how microplastics affect the semen quality in males. The link is available at the bottom of this article. There has been enough research work done already to prove how microplastics are good cancer-causing agents. Today reading this news about semen samples having microplastics is creating a fear that in the years to come, there will be a lot of in-fertility and this can greatly affect nature's order of evolution.

Stop using plastics

I have always wondered why governments keep saying that we should avoid using plastics but don't take any action to close all the factories that produce many plastic products. The easy way to solve the plastic problem is to find alternatives for the plastic items that we are using and close plastic manufacturers altogether. But there is a lot of politics involved here and that's one of the primary reasons why the government is not doing this. People are also ignorant and they go for plastics because there is no cheap alternative available in the market. Plastics are the cheap things in the market that people can easily use.

Only after it becomes a serious problem, do people start thinking at least a little bit. But even then only if it happens to an individual, they care to some extent. If it is happening to someone else, they don't care unless it happens to someone in their family. Due to microplastic poisoning, many people are losing their lives every year. Not just people but even other living beings are greatly affected because of plastic poisoning. Today we have enough evidence saying that even Seman produced by men has plastics in it and that can reduce the quality of the semen and maybe it can even prevent someone from producing their offspring.

Microplastics are everywhere

Today we can see microplastics everywhere. Research says that people consume 1 credit card-size plastic without their knowledge in one week. That's what this article mentions. If it passes through the digestive tract and gets outside through our renal system, then it is not a problem but imagine if these microplastics stay inside our body without having an option to get digested. The biggest problem is that our body cannot break down plastics. We have not identified any reliable natural way to break down plastics yet.

Microplastics enter our bodies in multiple ways. If we use plastic bottles to drink water, if we use heated plastic lunch boxes to consume our food, if the food is packed in hot lunch covers etc. People escape from the danger if these microplastics enter and exit from our bodies. If they stay inside the organs of our body and other places without exiting, they can gradually become cancer-causing agents.

People say that some plastic containers are okay for microwave ovens but ultimately it is found that even in that case some amount of plastic is mixed in the food and is given to the kids. They grow up having a lot of plastic in their body. We have to understand the seriousness of this problem and come up with a proper solution for this.

For real brother, it's shocking how deep the plastic problem runs. The fact that microplastics are found in semen is very very alarming. We need real action, not just words, from governments to tackle this issue.

Hmm
This is interesting but if we don’t use plastic, what do you think we can use to replace plastic? Nylons?

Yeah there are many replacements already. For some it is Nylon and for some it is paper.

The issue of microplastics in our bodies is alarming, especially given our inability to break them down. From drinking water from plastic bottles to using plastic containers in microwaves, our daily habits contribute to this problem.

We need to recognize the severity of this issue and urgently seek effective solutions to prevent long term health risks like cancer.
