RE: The Singularity Is Happening

Mm, Intelligence and knowledge are not synonymous. Intelligence is innate and allows us to solve problems, while knowledge is acquired through learning and experience. In the context of artificial intelligence (AI), artificial intelligence (AI) also distinguishes between the two. AI can generate knowledge without being inherently intelligent.

My impression is that they are overestimating the ability of AI to provide ms responses, but have not valued true human intelligence.

Well actually to define intelligence as an absolute such as you have done is a risky proposition. It is actually a highly complex and controversial subject.

However if we want to try to isolate it down, here is what American Heritage Dictionary has to say:

You point is valid about intelligence not being knowledge. However, to say that we are not dealing within something that doesnt use the knowledge it acquired is not accurate in my opinion.

My impression is that they are overestimating the ability of AI to provide ms responses, but have not valued true human intelligence.

This could well be true. We will have to see where expectations and actually technological applications align. It is often the case that expectations exceed technological capabilities, especially in the short term.

agree, we have others intelligence, like sentiments, that can be helpful or not, but... we have.

but, AI still dont have it and i think thats the point of singularity show, passing that point, things will escalate fast.
