Cuando uno escucha por primera vez la palabra cripto, casi siempre se imagina una mezcla entre dinero fácil, tecnología complicada y ese amigo que no deja de hablar de Bitcoin.
Pero la verdad es otra.
El mundo cripto no es la fórmula secreta para hacerte millonario de manera fácil y rápida, como algunos lo quieren hacer ver, para aprender a moverte en él deberás dedicar tiempo, cometer uno que otro error, y, sobre todo, aceptar que existe otra manera de ver las inversiones y las oportunidades.
Hoy quiero serte muy sincero, ya que, si estás leyendo esto, seguramente piensas iniciar y no sabes por dónde empezar, o, a lo mejor, ya comenzaste y te estás preguntado si tiene sentido seguir.
Sea cual sea tu punto de partida, bienvenido/a. Espero que esto que escribí, pensando en todo lo que a mí me hubiese gustado saber cuándo di mis primeros pasos, te sea de gran utilidad.
Comencemos. Cuando digo emprender en cripto, no me refiero solamente a invertir.
Invertir es una parte del ecosistema, sí, pero si de verdad quieres tener un rol activo, construir algo, ganar experiencia o incluso generar ingresos más allá del simple “holdeo”, tienes que entender que esto va mucho más allá de comprar tokens baratos y venderlos caros.
Emprender en el mundo cripto es entrar en una economía nueva, una lógica distinta, donde las reglas tradicionales, normalmente, no aplican. Aquí la descentralización no es solo una palabra bonita, sino una forma de vivir.
No hay bancos que te respalden, no hay un “soporte técnico” que te ayude a recuperar el dinero si la cag…s, y nadie te va a detener si decides hacer una pendej…da con tus fondos. Y esto, aunque suene intimidante, es también lo más poderoso de todo, la libertad de construir sin intermediarios, pero también la responsabilidad total sobre tus decisiones.
Entonces, ¿qué implica emprender en este espacio?
Primero, implica aprender. Sí, se que eso suena muy aburrido, pero créeme si no entiendes lo que estás usando, no vas a llegar muy lejos.
No tienes que ser un experto en blockchain, pero sí deberías al menos saber qué es una wallet, qué es una clave privada, qué es una red como Hive, o Ethereum, o Bsc, por qué hay diferentes tokens, qué diferencia hay entre una moneda y un contrato inteligente, etc.
Es lo básico para moverte sin miedo.
Y no, no necesitas hacer un curso de seis meses para eso, hay tutoriales, videos, blogs, incluso publicaciones como esta donde puedes ir entendiendo poco a poco.
Lo importante es no abrumarte, recuerda que nadie aprende de la noche a la mañana.
Segundo, implica cambiar la mentalidad. Si vienes del mundo tradicional, estás acostumbrado a que alguien más se encargue de las cosas por ti.
En el mundo cripto, no, aquí tú eres tu banco, tu soporte técnico, tu asesor financiero y tu responsable legal. Suena rudo, pero también es liberador.
Aprender a moverte con autonomía, tomar decisiones conscientes, investigar antes de dar clic… todo eso es parte del proceso.
Tercero, implica participar. Muchos piensan que esto es solo mirar gráficos y comprar en rojo.
Y ¡NO!, no es así.
El verdadero valor está en involucrarte, unirte a comunidades, aportar contenido, comentar, compartir experiencias, apoyar proyectos y aprender de otros.
El mundo cripto es una red viva, y mientras más activo seas, más aprendes y más oportunidades descubres. Plataformas como Hive o inLeo, por ejemplo, te permiten ganar por compartir contenido útil, y eso, para quien tiene ganas de emprender, es oro puro.
Y, por último, emprender en criptos implica entender que vas a cometer errores.

Desde mandar tokens a la red equivocada, hasta entrar en proyectos por puro FOMO, lo importante es que esos errores se conviertan en aprendizajes, porque si algo tiene este mundo, es que se mueve rápido, y si logras mantenerte aprendiendo, adaptándote y siendo constante, vas a encontrar tu camino más pronto de lo que imaginas.

There are no banks to support you, there's no "technical support" to help you recover your money if you screw up, and no one is going to stop you if you decide to do something stupid with your funds. And this, although it sounds intimidating, is also the most powerful thing of all: the freedom to build without intermediaries, but also total responsibility for your decisions.
So, what does it mean to start a business in this space?
First, it involves learning. Yes, I know that sounds really boring, but believe me, if you don't understand what you're using, you won't get very far.
You don't have to be a blockchain expert, but you should at least know what a wallet is, what a private key is, what a network like Hive, Ethereum, or BSC is, why there are different tokens, what the difference is between a currency and a smart contract, etc.
It's the basics to move around without fear.
And no, you don't need to take a six-month course for that; there are tutorials, videos, blogs, even posts like this one where you can gradually understand.
