What is AI Overviews? It’s the AI-generated answers you see at the top of your search results—before you even click on a link.

I may be the most ornery person on earth. That AI overview that you can't shut off--it drives me nuts. I don't want Google to tell me what to think. I'll do my own searches, thank you, with my own targeted questions.

Right now I use Duck Duck Go as a search engine, and that drives me crazy because it's inadequate. It has anemic search results. No question Google is more responsive and comprehensive. So I switch when I need info to Google.

It doubles my work, but it's a less annoying process.
