So, coming back to watch Hollywood after a while was so cool ๐
I am a Korean drama lover because of the melodrama seen in the movies, so it made me to be selective on the movies I watch.
I wasn't much interested in checking out something else because they are always there for me to download and enjoy.
To top it up with their 16 episodes per movie range.
But, lately, I watched a Korean drama that I wasn't just happy about.
The movie and the storyline weren't nice nor interesting.
You know that feeling of "Do they think I am a fool?" while watching a movie.
That was how I felt while watching the movie.
I enjoyed watching the Hollywood movie "You're cordially invited."
This movie gave me laughs and smiles at the same time.
Seeing all the characters in the movie acting their roles shape and fast made me know that Korean slow mo did a plus on me๐๐๐
No, I need to be alternating the type of movies I watch often.
Though, I am used to reading English subtitles even when they speak English in the movie.
So, I didn't really find that strange ๐๐
The scene that blew my mind is the father-daughter singing part of dolly Parton song.
Like, wait, is that their real voices?
Wow, it's so beautiful, energetic, and in accordance.
It made me wonder how long they practised that part to be this perfect and lovely.
The movie also showcased that being real in whatever you do in life is the Golden deal to a beautiful family.
Pretence can't hold on for too long, it can only sustain a situation for a short time and the consequences of broken pretence can be bad, and not easily controlled.
Family is everything, no matter what happens or your situation with family.
It's best to resolve it quickly and get back together.
Okay "how the F do the alligator get into the room?" ๐๐๐
I see that as hilarious but unnecessary though.
They wanted to use it as a connection for Margot and her family getting back together and showing care.
Reminding them to show care to her before something bad happens and they live to regret not expressing their feelings.
I don't want to fill you in with everything that happened in the movie to avoid that spoiler pitch.
If you love comedy,family drama, then you will love and enjoy this movie.
The movie is cool and I enjoyed it.
I will rate it 8 / 10.
