RE: Watch This Tonight

I reviewed this some time ago. I found it intelligent and gripping. I didn't find it slow at all. When I wrote my review I had major spoilers. I found this necessary because the build up to the end was the story. Every piece was essential to the end.

Here go my spoilers. For anyone reading this comment:stop!! I'm going to give stuff away here.

The earth people are being farmed. They are not being killed, but they are being farmed. Notice how all dead bodies are harvested. Not one bit of dead human is wasted. Notice the attention to the rail lines. They need these lines to transport the 'food'. Notice the liquified human bodies--milk--which is the only nutrition the infected consume.

It's true the infected cannot kill directly. However, death by collateral damage is OK. And there is a lot of collateral damage. Notice the conservation of energy, so that beams can be sent into space and the infection spread. More planets to be conquered, more 'food' to be harvested.

I thought the show was brilliant. Clues all around and all of them leading to Season two (also notice that Carol gets an atomic bomb).

Alright...you can see I really liked this show :)
