RE: Commenting Goals

in Self Improvement2 years ago

Last year I had the soft goal of replying to all comments on my posts daily and writing comments on five additional posts. I did pretty good on that for most of the year

Good afternoon, @dbooster

In fact, since the year began, I've had this goal in mind of publishing daily on this platform. But unfortunately, I haven't had many comments that resonate with my ideas or thoughts in the posts. Occasionally, I get comments in which the photos are taken into account, or even an idea that I have written.

But most likely the "problem" is really with me! By not commenting as much, I don't allow interpersonal relationships, as you say, to grow.

I'll bear that in mind and try to make at least 5 comments on interesting posts. As for replying to comments on my posts, I always reply to everyone :) And it's a real pleasure to do so, even if it takes more than a day... Ahaahh

I hope that in a month's time I'll have managed to establish more contacts with some users of this platform.

As an example, from a post by livinguktawain, from SquatChallange, I got to know your posts... didn't I? I have to work harder to make this happen with more people

Cheers!

Yeah, exactly. It's kind of a chicken and the egg problem. Few people are going to comment on you until you go out and comment on them. That may not seem fair, and in some ways it's not, but that is how it works. But I try to do commenting without any expectation that I am going to receive anything in return. I just want to bring some joy to the people I comment on. I know how nice it can be to get a genuine comment on my post, so I want to bring that same joy to other people.

And believe me, that you really make the difference. I never forget that great challenge that "unite" us and make me be in touch with you. A small action can lead to a very important things. To mark other one's day with some joy is cost less, and so much valuable!

I'm glad to hear you say that. That challenge was fun! We should try to do more of those on Hive.
