Hello Hive friends, greetings to all. Especially to the @motherhood community, happy to be able to share with you, this time sharing my son's school carnival, as well as his great medieval knight costume.
Hola amigos de Hive, un saludo a todos. En especial a la comunidad @motherhood feliz de poder compartir con ustedes, en esta oportunidad compartiendo el carnaval escolar de mi hijo, así como su genial disfraz de caballero medieval.

I want to tell you first that this costume cost me several headaches, because the theme was a medieval knight and I did not find any in any store that matched what I was looking for. That's why I have no other option than to go to the El Castillo textile center to buy each of the fabrics to send it to be made and thus be able to personalize it as I wanted. After that, I contacted my sister-in-law, a great seamstress (I should emphasize), who told me not to worry because it would be ready in two days. Bad? Well we live in Venezuela and anything can happen. What happened? Well there was no electricity in Barcelona for more than two days.
But I must be grateful that he is excellent at his job and in the few moments that he had electricity he finished doing it, so yesterday Thursday afternoon I went for this one which was only missing the belt that I was able to make with foam. Today we got up very early to prepare it and although it looks very good in the photos it cost me a world to be able to capture a good photograph, since Jonás is very restless and he claimed that the sequin fabric was a little itchy, I was able to solve it by putting a sweater under him and ready he was finally able to leave for school.
Quiero contarles primeramente que este traje me costa varios dolores de cabeza, pues la temática era caballero medieval y no encontré en ninguna tienda alguno que se asimilara a lo que buscada. Por eso no me quedo otra opción que el al centro textil El Castillo a comprar cada una de las telas para mandarlo a elaborar y así poderlo personalizar como quería. Luego de eso contacte con mi cuñada una gran costurera (debo destacar) quien me dijo que no me preocupara pues en dos días estaría listo. ¿Lo malo? Bueno vivimos en Venezuela y cualquier cosa puede pasar. ¿Qué paso? Bueno no hubo energía eléctrica en Barcelona por más de dos días.
Pero debo agradecer que es excelente en su trabajo y en los pocos momentos que tuvo energía eléctrica termino de realizarlo, así que el ayer jueves en la tarde fui por este al cual solo le faltaba el cinturón que pude elaborar yo con foami. Hoy nos levantaos muy temprano para para prepararlo y aunque en las fotos se vea muy bien me costo un mundo poder capturar una buena fotografía, ya que Jonás es muy inquieto y me alegaba que le picaba un poco la tela de lentejuelas, pude solucionarlo colocándole un suéter debajo y listo por fin pudo partir al colegio.
As the event was not open to parents but was something internal to the institution and within each classroom, thanks to the teacher we were able to take a few shots that allowed me to immortalize this moment through photographs where the children were having fun and sharing together. In the end it was completely worth the stress that we mothers usually have when it comes to an act or any event for our children because seeing their smile and joy is priceless.
Como el acto no fue abierto a los padres sino fue algo interno de la institución y dentro de cada salón, gracias a la maestra pudimos hacer pocas tomas que me permitieron inmortalizar este momento a través de fotografías donde los niños se divertían y compartían todos juntos. Al final valió completamente el estrés que solemos tener las madres a la hora de un acto o cualquier evento de nuestros hijos pues ver sus sonrisa y alegría no tiene precio.
Well friends, it's time to say goodbye to all of you, I hope you liked it and that you enjoy these 2025 carnivals with your children because this is one of the celebrations that they enjoy most of the year. And that every effort has a reward and I believe that there is no better reward than seeing the happiness and joy of our children.
Bueno amigos es hora de despedirme de todos ustedes, espero les haya gustado y que disfruten de estos carnavales 2025 al lado de sus hijos pues está es una de las celebraciones que ellos más disfrutan en el año. Y que cada esfuerzo tiene una recompensa y creo que no hay mejor recompensa que ver la felicidad y la alegría de nuestros hijos.
