Muy buenas tardes, querida comunidad de hive @motherhood en esta oportunidad le quiero compartir cómo le fue a mi hija Emily en su primera visita al odontólogo.
Fue una experiencia que superó nuestras expectativas gracias a Dios, el ambiente fue acogedor para ella, ya que iba un poco nerviosa como es natural por ser su primera visita, pero la odontóloga supo ganar su confianza desde el primer momento le hablo con dulzura le explico cada paso del proceso y hasta le mostró los instrumentos.
Durante la revisión, la odontóloga se dio cuenta de que uno de sus dientes de leche debía de extraído para que su diente definitivo pudiera salir en la posición correcta y no en la parte de atrás. Le explicó a Emily que su boca estaba creciendo, e iba a ir mudando algunos dientes.
La doctora me dio 2 opciones.
Para que ella no fuera a tener una mala experiencia en su primera visita y no fuera traumática. Le hizo una limpieza dental y aplicó un poco de flúor.
Y para la segunda visita se extraería el diente de leche. Lo más fascinante fue que Emily se sintió cómoda, no hubo miedo, solo curiosidad le dieron la opción de escoger el color de cepillo para su limpieza y por supuesto ella escogió el morado, su color favorito.
Salió del consultorio con una sonrisa orgullosa, mostrando su sticker que le regaló la doctora por ser una niña muy valiente.
Fue una aventura para ella y para mí también como madre fue reconfortante ver como una situación que pudo haber sido estresante se convirtió en una experiencia positiva y sobre todo educativa, la atención fue tan amena que Emily preguntaba al salir cuando volvería hablaba de la odontóloga como si fuera su amiga y yo súper feliz y tranquila.

Good afternoon, dear Hive community @motherhood Today, I want to share with you how my daughter Emily first visit to the dentist went.
It was an experience that exceeded our expectations, thank God. The atmosphere was welcoming for her, as she was a little nervous, which is natural for a first visit, but the dentist knew how to gain her trust from the very beginning. She spoke to her gently, explained each step of the process, and even showed her the instruments.
During the checkup, the dentist realized that one of her baby teeth needed to be extracted so that her permanent tooth could come in correctly and not at the back. She explained to Emily that if her mouth was growing, she would lose some teeth.
The doctor gave me two options.
So that she wouldn't have a bad experience on her first visit and it wouldn't be traumatic. She gave her a dental cleaning and applied a little fluoride.
And for the second visit, her baby tooth would be extracted. The most fascinating thing was that Emily felt comfortable, there was no fear, only curiosity. They gave her the option to choose the color of the brush for her cleaning, and of course she chose purple, her favorite color.
She left the doctor's office with a proud smile, showing off the sticker the doctor gave her for being such a brave girl.
It was an adventure for her, and for me as a mother, it was comforting to see how a situation that could have been stressful turned into a positive and, above all, educational experience. The visit was so pleasant that when Emily left, she asked when she would be back. She talked about the dentist as if she were her friend, and I was super happy and calm.
