Hello mommies out there! Happy mothers day to all of us! I knew this blog is a little bit late but I wanted to share it here with you all our simple celebration last mother's Day!
First, I'm already a mother but I haven't celebrated it with my husband because he is at the precinct guarding the ballots because the next day is the election day. He just gave me a kiss and a greeting before he left home so early in the morning and he also made a day on Facebook.
Days before the mother's Day, I ordered a cake for my mother because I was very far away from her and I cannot celebrate with her. And I ask my father to give it to her in behalf of me. And I saw she was very happy. She was from church at that time and my father surprises her.
By dinner time, they went to my grandmother's house because they will celebrate together the mother's Day.
These are the women in my mother's side.two sisters of my mother and two wives of my mother's brother.
This is my mother. She is 43 years old now and she is a volunteer to our baranggay in health and a chapel leader.
This is the younger sister of my mother next to her. She has 2 kids now.
This is my family. My mother and my 5 siblings who are present here. One of my siblings was not in the picture because he has to guard the house together with my father because we have lots of animals.
This is her youngest daughter. This is a sister of my mother. She has 2 kids now. And she is running their family business which is a grocery store.
This is my grandmother and grandfather from my mother's side. For me they are the best grandparents. I try to live with them when I was senior high school. And when I was a kid, when I visited their home they always gave me money or food to bring me for home. During my recognition days, they always gave me money and gifts.
This is the 2nd from the youngest brother of my mother with his wife and one son. She is a teacher and my uncle is a truck driver.
This is the 3rd sibling of my mother together with his wife and one child.
Then later that night my mother posted on Facebook thanking me for giving her a cake and greeting me too.
That was our mother's Day. It's pretty simple but a very memorable event every year. They had a great dinner together, karaoke and drinks. This is how we show value to out mother's out there. We believe to give them appreciations so they would be happy. Mother's are the roots of success, advice and models so we should take care of them and let them happy in many ways.
