Hola amigos de Soloescribe, quiero compartir con ustedes un pequeñito poema que compuse, porque mi sobrino mayor me pidió ayuda en una de las tareas de la escuela. Él y su hermano son los únicos sobrinos que tengo y nacieron junto a mí; desde entonces he tratado de educarlos y enseñarlos como ahora hago con mi hijo. Me había dicho que necesitaba un poema, un Haikú. Con toda honestidad, nunca había escrito ninguno, incluso no tenía muchas nociones sobre él, pero me informé con toda la actitud que me caracteriza.
Para los buenos amigos de esta comunidad que no conocen acerca de esta composición poética, les comento que fue el escritor japonés Matsuo Basho, quien hizo popular este género, que tiene por principales características la brevedad y la naturalidad. Posee un carácter espiritual y solo consta de tres versos; el primero de 5 sílabas métricas, el segundo de 7 y el tercero de 5 y no hay rima alguna entre ellos. Se trata de abrazar un momento único entre líneas, sin metáforas: un instante natural y humano enlazado a los elementos sensorial y visual.
Y sin más preámbulos, mi apoyo a la tarea de mi querido sobrino, donde quise plasmar el amor por ellos: Leandro, Álvaro y por mi hijo Ismael; ¡porque al final, qué no hago por ellos!

He and his brother are the only nephews I have, and they were born with me; since then, I've tried to raise and teach them, just as I do now with my son. He had told me he needed a poem, a haiku. In all honesty, I had never written one before, and I didn't even have much knowledge of it, but I learned about it with all the attitude that characterizes me.
For the good friends of this community who are unfamiliar with this poetic composition, I'd like to tell you that it was the Japanese writer Matsuo Basho who popularized this genre, whose main characteristics are brevity and naturalness. It has a spiritual character and only consists of three lines: the first with five metrical syllables, the second with seven, and the third with five. There is no rhyme between them.
It's about embracing a unique moment between the lines, without metaphors: a natural and human instant linked to sensorial and visual elements.
And without further ado, my support for my dear nephew's work, where I wanted to capture my love for them: Leandro, Álvaro, and my son Ismael; because in the end, what wouldn't I do for them?
