This Sitio contains bodies of water just like river and streams and all of this can be pass if we want to went the Sitio.
This river has a great contributions to all residents here because the went here to fetched lots of water for their plants and animals. They also washed their clothes here in this wide silica rocks and sometimes they do fishing here using bow and arrow or spears made with sharped tip bamboo. Each side of the place contains lots of big and tall trees that can gives the areas a shady and cool place. Each cliff contains wild grass just like ferns.
This bamboo fence is also known and indicated as a border between two places. In order for us to reach the place, first we need to pass by here and headed to the slope areas near at the Sitio. This is temporary fence because it is only made of bamboo and it can broke for the past few years. This fence lead down near at the river so the place will be privatized.
This is the slope areas near at Sitio Makawa and there are lots of cogon grass covers the entire land and a big and tall Germilina trees. This place was already developed into an agricultural land were lots of manggoe trees and banana plants can be seen and found. Those big trees covered the entire place all the way down near at the river and all of this are well preserved so it can help the place avoid of getting eroded. The road trail cannot be seen clearly because it is covered with wild grass. This place is perfect for those who loves Nature travel adventure and mountain climbing escapade.
This road trail is leading to the Sitio and near of this place is the stream and it is already dried because of the intense heat happens here. Most of the people who were passing by here carried their goods going to the market and some wooden carts pulled by a carabao also passed by here. This road trail is also served as a shortcut for them instead of heading to the sloped areas of the Sitio and it only takes a few minutes before reaching the River.
After passing by in the road trail we finally reach this stream. Some parts of the place are already dried and a small amount of water is only lefr on some place where it can't directly hit by the sunlight. The stream contains with lots of Silica rocks and some of it are already covered with moss. Aside of that, it is very cool and relaxing in the area because of the tall trees grows near. There are two channels of water here and it connected in one place going to the river. Lots of wild animals like birds and monitor-lizards also hid on the big stones and the holes located at the cliff.
According to the Native people I talked about this place, this big trees are their worshipping areas. They offered animals here and prayed for their Gods called "Anito". This big trees are already lived hundred years ago and for them, it is very sacred areas. Until now, they do rituals here in this big trees offered to the Gods of the Trees and Nature to have bountiful harvest of their crops. It brings a cool and relaxing place because of its wide and big branches and for me it is a perfect site to do camping trips.
