Yesterday afternoon, we went to the Wyndham for my husband to deliver some papers, and since we were very close to Concorde beach, I wanted to share with you some of my joy in sharing this place with you.

Ayer en la tarde, fuimos al Wyndham para que mi esposo entregara unos papeles, y como estábamos muy cerca de playa Concorde.
This beach is located in the El Morro sector, in the Mariño municipality of Nueva Esparta state, in the beautiful Margarita Island, we decided to pay it a visit. We decided to take a walk along its shore and breathe the fresh air that the sea always offers us.
Esta playa está ubicada en el sector El Morro, en el municipio Mariño del estado Nueva Esparta, en la hermosa Isla Margarita, decidimos hacerle una visita. Tomamos la decisión de pasear un rato por su orilla y respirar el aire puro que siempre nos ofrece el mar.
When we arrived, I noticed that the beach had changed a bit. They had placed a beach club called “Isla Blanca”, with large umbrellas that allow you to spend a pleasant time without exposing yourself too much to the sun. I thought it was a good change, since it offers comfort to those who want to rest by the seashore without worrying about the strong sun of the island. However, as I went in the afternoon, the beach was quiet and almost without bathers, so the umbrellas were closed. But my purpose was none other than to contemplate the sea, so that did not affect me at all.
Cuando llegamos, noté que la playa había cambiado un poco. Le habían colocado un club de playa llamado “Isla Blanca”, con grandes sombrillas que permiten pasar un rato agradable sin exponerse demasiado al sol. Me pareció un cambio acertado, pues ofrece comodidad a quienes buscan descansar a la orilla del mar sin preocuparse por el fuerte sol de la Isla. Sin embargo, como fui en la tarde, la playa estaba tranquila y casi sin bañistas, por lo que las sombrillas estaban cerradas. Pero mi propósito no era otro que contemplar el mar, así que eso no me afectó en absoluto.
To my left you can see the El Morro sector, with its beautiful buildings on the top of the rocky hill. That view is spectacular, worthy of a postcard. It is, undoubtedly, one of the natural attractions of the beach that never ceases to enchant those who visit it.
A mi izquierda se puede apreciar el sector El Morro, con sus bellos edificios en la punta de la loma rocosa. Esa vista es espectacular, digna de una postal. Es, sin duda, una de las atracciones naturales de la playa que no deja de enamorar a quienes la visitan.
To my right are a few restaurants, although at that hour they were already closed. Beyond, the bay of Bellavista stretches out, a place that complements the serenity of Concorde beach.

My husband's and my idea was to wait for the sunset at Concorde Beach, because although we have enjoyed the sunrise here, we had never stayed to watch the sunset. This is an ideal place for many families with small children, as the waves are calm and the water is usually not very cold, which makes it a safe and pleasant beach.
It is common to see fishermen's boats loaded with fish passing by, accompanied by a flock of birds that follow their boats waiting for a prize.

My husband's and my idea was to wait for the sunset at Concorde Beach, because although we have enjoyed the sunrise here, we had never stayed to watch the sunset. This is an ideal place for many families with small children, as the waves are calm and the water is usually not very cold, which makes it a safe and pleasant beach.

La idea de mi esposo y mía era esperar el atardecer en playa Concorde, pues aunque hemos disfrutado el amanecer en este lugar, nunca nos habíamos quedado a ver cómo cae la tarde. Este es un sitio ideal para muchas familias con niños pequeños, ya que el oleaje es tranquilo y el agua no suele ser muy fría, lo que lo convierte en una playa segura y agradable.

As I sat gazing at the horizon, I came across a pelican that fearlessly posed in front of my lens. These small experiences are the essence of Concorde Beach; nature at its best.
Mientras estaba sentada contemplando el horizonte, me encontré con un pelícano que, sin temor alguno, posaba ante mi lente. Esas pequeñas vivencias son la esencia de playa Concorde; naturaleza en su máxima expresión.
This beach is rich in oysters, and fishermen often extract them to offer them as a delicacy. As a result, it is common to find piles of shells scattered along the shore, testimonies of marine life and fishing activity.
Esta playa es rica en ostras, y los pescadores suelen extraerlas para ofrecerlas como un manjar. Como resultado, es común encontrar montones de conchas esparcidas por la orilla, testimonios de la vida marina y la actividad pesquera.
As the sun began to descend, large clouds appeared on the horizon, preventing the sky and the sea from turning completely red. Still, the spectacle was incredible. Every sunset here is a different work of art, and that is the magic of this place.
