Hello dear friends,
Unfortunately, yesterday I couldn't manage to make my usual post to share with you, and today I'm trying to catch up a bit and share with you what I saw yesterday. To tell the truth, I didn't see much, but I visited Montecatini Alto, a place I prefer over Montecatini Terme.
Montecatini Alto is a beautiful medieval village situated at an altitude of about 300 meters, overlooking the now famous Valdinievole, a valley I have often talked about in other villages. While waiting for a client here, I decided to take some photos to show you how beautiful this place is.
Indeed, there are these ancient towers that make this historic center even more beautiful, creating the medieval atmosphere that invites relaxation. However, let's remember that we are in the municipality of Montecatini Terme, and once it was an autonomous municipality. Montecatini Alto is connected to Montecatini Terme by an ancient cable car that is only activated during the high tourist season.
What I noticed and can say from my experience is that many trails start from this point for beautiful walks. I hope to come back here this summer and maybe share some photos of a walk and perhaps some beautiful panoramas seen from up here.
As you can see from the photos, in the main square, and let's say the most important one, there are many romantic restaurants and bars where you can enjoy a good aperitif in total relaxation. I've been here several times, but I must say that it's always a beautiful emotion to visit these places.
Sorry for this somewhat rushed post, but unfortunately, that's how it goes today. Tomorrow I want to share something really interesting when I have more time. Meanwhile, thank you for reading this post. See you next time.
