Calle Lamparilla, perhaps as its name suggests, is a lamp that illuminates the place you're headed: El Mercurio Restaurant.
El Mercurio, en honor al dios del comercio y los viajeros, se ubica en el edificio Lonja del Comercio desde 1997 (año en que fue inaugurado este restaurante). Está especializado en cocina internacional, siendo famosos por sus entrepanes y platos ligeros, con precios accesibles. Su ubicación le hace ser preferencia por viajeros y personas de negocios que desean degustar un desayuno de trabajo, almuerzo rápido o cenas con estilo. Su terraza con vista a la Plaza San Francisco le hace poseer un valor agregado exquisito a los sentidos: un área al aire libre.
El Mercurio, named in honor of the god of commerce and travelers, has been located in the Lonja del Comercio building since 1997 (the year this restaurant opened). Un agua y café fue la apertura al paladar, ese nunca puede faltar. Seguido de una picadera variada y pizzas. De la carta puedes elegir lo que gustes, aunque a ese precio se le adiciona el 5% al final del consumo.
Water and coffee were the perfect way to start, a must. This was followed by a variety of appetizers and pizzas. You can choose whatever you like from the menu, although a 5% service charge is added to the final bill.
