Welcome everyone, I wish you all a beautiful day with happiness, prosperity and peace to the great creator. This great dedicated place is Dhaka Mohammadpur Martyrs Intellectual Memorial. We have been planning since last two days that I will go to new place with my wife and daughter. Today we had a nice time and a short trip allows us to follow our thoughts. Here in our memorial you will enjoy, the graveyard of martyred intellectuals, two suspension bridges, abundance of huge wall with a beautiful pillar, some unique scenery of nature with amazing background. And there is a small river full of natural beauty. This wonderful journey gives us great joy and inspiration here. Along with that, we have prayed to the great Lord for the peace of the souls of the martyred intellectuals as per our custom. Let's see what we enjoyed on today's trip and know a little about the environment here. First we introduce this remarkable pillar of memory.
This wonderful Martyred Intellectuals Memorial was built in memory of the intellectuals who were killed by Pakistani forces in the liberation war of our beloved Bangladesh on 14th December 1971.This memorial is located next to Mohammadpur police station in Dhaka. The design of this memorial is a huge abundance shaped wall. A huge pond shape, beautiful map view. Beautiful pillars have been created in the pond shape.
Asadgate Normally we will head towards Mohammadpur through this Asadgate. This Asadgate generally has three pillars. Here, this place along with this pillar is usually named Asadgate after the martyred Asad freedom fighter. Let's connect some more monuments to the abundance tradition in the heart.
A little further, another huge monument can be seen. This pillar is usually written in Arabic script and topped with the mosque's crescent symbol. On the occasion of the Mohammadpur Baitus Salam Jame Masjid, this remarkable pillar was installed in the midst of a local gathering. However, we spent a lot of time in traffic on this road. Although our idea was a little wrong. We felt very hot in this crowd due to wearing warm clothes. After that, I saw the Martyr Intellectual Memorial near Rayerbazar, a little further from Mohammadpur three streets. Although here I am for the first time. Also I think it is very important to know about this place.
Generally it is called Rayerbazar slaughter house. Because a huge cemetery is located here. There is also this wonderful monument or pillar. After the death of various people of Dhaka city, their tombs were built here.
These stairs of ancient tradition look very big and strong. Which is still beautiful and elegant with brick color. Let's go up through here. Friends this is our fun destination today.
This monument was usually the original brick kiln of Rayerbazar. Long curved brick walls.The walls of this memorial of the intellectuals, centered on the history of the liberation war, reveal the depth of grief. It is now known as a place of great beauty as a place to visit and chase memories. Right in the middle of the pillar is a beautiful square window. Especially at this moment we got to see the sky through that window. It is like a ray of light standing in the darkness.But in front of this beautiful curved wall there is a remarkable black granite pillar in the water. Which is beautiful to look at and represents sadness above all else.But the entire architecture is made of red bricks. There are traces of blood dripping from the bodies of martyred intellectuals especially after torture. This amazing red wall is a wall of thousands of memories. Around 1,300 people, including 200 intellectuals, were brutally killed by Pak forces here.1,300 people lost their lives due to indiscriminate torture and violence by the Pakistani occupation forces.
Behind this magnificent wall you can see a bright red abundance in the sunlight. Here children indulge in sports to their heart's content and enjoy spending some time with nature. But there is a huge field shape and different types of stairs all around. Also along with the green grass are various large ancient banyan trees. But with the weather here, it was nice to spend some time in the light air, sit in the shade of the banyan tree and enjoy some pleasure. This is our first time here though. But here we meet a very old man. He talks to us about the message of the cemetery here, along with some messages about this abundance. But through this window of abundance we saw the sky which was above all delightful.
Here usually tourists from abroad along with various travelers come to collect various information and take information about abundance and pillar along with its conservation management. Here you can see different types of toy shops along with food shops. Although we prefer to eat out a little bit less, but we do enjoy the occasional snack. Here kids including big boys are engrossed in playing cricket. Sports are very good for health. Here I bought a flute for my daughter. He is very happy to get this flute. Above all his joyous frenzy allowed me to travel.
Here you can see pictures of some graves. You can know more in these pictures. People from around Dhaka Mohammadpur area are kept here when they die. This huge cemetery is located in the alley next to the intellectual cemetery. By using the block number here, when people die in different areas, their bodies are buried in this place. Here we saw a wonderful small river with various oligopolies including forest jungle. There is movement of various animals including animals and birds. We are inspired to see this beautiful place. Here is a simple beautiful scene of gathering of green leaves which we feel very happy to see as well as pray to the great creator for the grave dwellers. Besides this cemetery there are two bridges one big and one small. Let us move forward and enjoy the wonderful environment with its beautiful nature.
Here the interior is mellow and the gentle breeze lapping the lake water. People also have the chance to enjoy the lakeside promenade and the unique view of the wonderful nature. We climb over the bridge and enjoy the beautiful scenery on both sides. We connect ourselves with nature to uncover the imprisoned life of Dhaka city. Along with this, new tree saplings have grown here, which is always an opportunity to see the unique nature here. However, there are three bridges connecting the lake through this cemetery. Among them we enjoyed this wonderful nature and environment by using these two bridges. Here we also see children's cemeteries divided separately. There is a lighting system in this cemetery at some distance. Facility centers with water and toilets have been built inside five places. Finally there is a collection of different types of flowers. Here we feel relaxed by spending some of our time with nature and breathe naturally .
With this wonderful nature and environment of this Mohammadpur cemetery, these employees as mountaineers always keep it bright with their hard work. All in all awesome and motivated towards hard work.
Along with nature and environment, there is a collection of beautiful buildings. There is usually a building here, in which usually sick people are treated free of charge. Also, various doctors are employed here, they continue this employment through their hard work. Although there is a huge tree here, the tree has many beautiful flowers. In the picture you can see flowers lying on the ground. We had a great time here and took pictures to show you as exhibits. This place is very nice clean and elegant. But our journey is almost at an end. My daughter and I decided to go out through this gate with my wife. An empire of cemeteries with an extraordinary abundance of memory and diversity. Also, this beautiful little forest is associated with unique mysteries of nature.
After visiting the Martyr Intellectual Cemetery, we see a nursery with a flower garden here. This nursery looks very nice and has a variety of plants. They sell trees with the aim of fertilizing this wonderful nature through hard work. Here we like some trees and though we can't find any place to plant trees in Dhaka city. Since we have no place here on our own. But I have a tree garden in our country house where I plant trees. After all, in the history of human life, it is the responsibility of all of us as human beings to save nature.
Although on the way home we were stuck in traffic for a long time. During the visit to the Martyr Intellectuals Memorial, we got to know some information about the dead intellectuals. Enjoyed the nature and environment of the city and the beautiful river. We made friends with nature by crossing two wonderful bridges. Also saw a beautiful small forest with natural green vegetation and animal movement. Here we also saw sun and pillars with thousands of cemeteries. We saw this remarkable pillar in the middle of the water to commemorate intellectual martyrs. Also got to know some information about Shaheed Asadgate. May the intellectual martyrs rest in peace, and we pray to the great creator for the grave dwellers.
