Hello hivers and travelers of this amazing worldmappin community. Last week we stroll around one of the free coastal beaches here in Camiguin Island and I was amazed by its natural beauty. It's not people's art putting it along the beaches but it's naturally there for people's sight and leisure.
Just this day I found out that the sea was so near to the coastal line. There's only little space for us. In the picture there is also a seawall. Before it serves as a fishing port but nowadays since the sea is quite far it is the look out for maritime and coastguard during coastal patrol.
I think this month is the season for these sea snails because they are everywhere and my kids are keep on collecting them. I don't know if it can be eaten but they collected it just to play. They crawls not so slow and they shines the stones from afar.
There are so many different kinds of rocks in the beach. Some are white, brown, black or red. This island was formed because of a volcano and I understood why rocks here looks like magma from a volcano. This place also has so many corals long time ago and the presence of died corals are so many. 5 meters from the coastline there are so many fishes because there are so many healthy and beautiful corals and seaweeds. I was able to get a seaweed too. They said it can be eaten but I haven't tried this kind of seaweed before.
There is this beautiful curve body coconut tree. This is perfect for a pictorial but I haven't have one because I'm just alone with the kids, no one can take pictures of me properly and I'm very careful because under it is the sea. It is naturally there. The other tree is I think a kind of mangrove like tree that can sustain sea waves. There's a lot of it here in the coastal lines. Sometimes people come here and bring hammocks and they can rest very well or even for babies.
There is this another kind of tree that spreads it's strong roots on the ground building like a strong sea wall for the waves. It's not man-made it's very amazing because it naturally hugs the soil or rocks and it's beautiful.
The water is so clear. The depth of this is almost on my knees but still the seabed is very clear. The different kinds of stones which varies from colors and sizes are very clear on the picture and even in our eyes in person.
The waves splashes so strong but very friendly. It can't harm you. It's just like it kisses you softly. The water is not salty, I don't know but for me it tastes salty but a little sweet like you will not cry if it splashes on your eyes.
Overall I can say this is truly an amazing nature formations and gifts. The sea is my friend that's why I always have time to go to the beach every month to refresh my mind together with my two kids or even my husband if he is not busy at work. There are so many beaches around here but definitely this time I can say this is the best one.
