Hi there fellow bloggers and travellers. Let's have a magnificent night walk at our boulevard. It's hot and humid inside the house and we decided to have a little walk late in the night. Maybe this is already 9 pm. This is just located in front of our house but a lot of people went here in the afternoon or in the evening to have refreshments, sightseeing, Zumba and even cycling or playing badminton.
This is the famous Boulevard in our town. It's a long concrete high road towards one of the famous swimming pool here. It has solar light panels for the lighting and small electric bulbs giving the street view. On the right side of this Boulevard is the housing place for everyone and our house is one of them.
On the left side there's a very big river. Actually this river is just two steps away when I was a kid, when I was five years old. And people do quarry this area. It's one of their main job. Even me when I was at high school I use to quarry so I can afford to go to school or buy food at home. So it became very wide. And the origin of this river had major construction of dam, swimming pools and reservoir making it to expand too much. When the mountain rains there's a very strong flood rushing here so the government had to make this Boulevard as a wall for the water not to go to the houses.
This is the main highway. It's quite a long bridge. This place is very peaceful until our mayor just three years ago put some night lights so people get attracted to bystand here. It became popular that other municipalities have to travel here just to take a picture. It's famous as D'golden gateway of Zamboanga del Sur because of it's festive lights inspired from another country's baylights and bridges.
I took a picture of us because I knew I'll be back here next year around. It's so cold but never mind the cold because the view is giving a very positive vibe.
When you are hungry, there's a lot of street foods here. Shakes, milk tea, siomai and balut. There's also ready made dinners. Very known here is chicken pastil which is a good dinner and also barbeque.
