Sultan Kudarat is a progressive province in Mindanao, Philippines, knows for its culture, festivals, scenic spots and rich local heritage.

The Kalimudan Festival 2025 brings an extraordinary highlight this year through its Global Village, a vibrant attraction set within the grounds of the Sultan Kudarat Provincial Capitol. This immersive showcase transforms the area into a breathtaking collection of world destinations, each one creatively represented by the different municipalities of the province. The result is a stunning travel experience where visitors can explore iconic places from around the world without ever leaving Sultan Kudarat.

As soon as you enter the Global Village, every corner offers a unique destination. Each spot is designed to capture the essence of a country, allowing you to appreciate global culture trough creative local interpretation.

The tour begins at France – Tacurong City, where a beautifully lit tower stands tall, echoing the elegance of France’s most famous landmark. It serves as a charming starting point and quickly becomes a favorite photo spot for visitors who want a touch of Paris in their festival experience.

A few steps away is India- Municipality of Senator Ninoy Aquino, where the area is dedicated to miniature version of the Taj Mahal. Its arches and curves reflect India’s architectural pride, and the display instantly transports visitors to one of the world’s greatest monuments.

From there, the Journey leads to Egypt – Municipality of Palimbang, featuring pyramids and temple structures. The sandy tones and ancient design create a desert-like atmosphere, giving visitors a glimpse of Egypt’s timeless wonders.

A refreshing and serene space awaits to Thailand – Lebak, where the highlight is the Buddha House. The peaceful setup captures the clam spirit of Thailand’s spiritual heritage offering a quiet moment within the lively festival grounds.

The next stop is Japan – Municiplaity of Esperanza, filled with Japanese lanterns, lamps a delicate temple, and a backdrop inspired by Mount Fuji. The elegance and simplicity of Japanese design shine through, making it a visually soothing place to explore.

At South Korea- Bagumbayan, visitors can find a traditional Korean house. This spot captures the beauty of Korean architecture, showcasing wooden details and a rustic feel that represents Korea’s preserved history.

The USA- Municipality of Lutayan area proudly features a replica of the White House, making it a standout attraction. Visitor’s love taking pictures here, as if stepping right into America’s most iconic residence. The Home of Leaders.

Moving froward, the UAE – Municipality of Isulan section is one of the most impressive sights. The pavilion is designed with modern Middle Eastern elements and inside, visitors can experience a version of the Dubai Miracle Garden. Complete with vibrant flowers arranged in artistic formations.

Greece- Municipality of Lambayong presents the charm of Greek architecture

China – Municipality of President Quirino brings life to a full Chinese Town, complete with symbolic décor and four majestic dragons that embody traditional Chinese artistry.

The adventure continues at Italy – Kalamansig, where the Colosseum and the Learning Tower stand as the main features. These iconic structures add a European flair to the Global Village.

Finally, Egypt – Municipality of Columbo theme blends carnival elegance with masks and an Amazon Forest concept inside, giving visitors a colorful, adventurous and uniquely crafted environment.

Every destination within the Global Village demonstrates the incredible creativity of Sultan Kudarat’s municipalities. The place itself is the star – an international journey thoughtfully built within one festivals pace. In just minutes, visitors can walk through the world, enjoy spectacular attractions, and celebrate global culture at the heart of Sultan Kudarat.
