Somewhere in Time was filmed on Mackinac Island, wasn't it?

Great photos and info! I can see how Michililimackinac could be shortened to just mackinac. We pretty much stole all the native words for our place names and went on to butcher them, eh?

        Well, the British and French did yes :) I blame them! Yeah, I touched on it in my post last week, but Somewhere in Time was definitely filmed here. The Grand Hotel played a big part in it. For that reason alone I'd maybe actually pay to visit the hotel one day.
