Today was our 5th day. We were supposed to reach Dehradun after seeing the tea garden in Palampur and the Sourav Van Vihar Children's Park. We woke up at 6 AM, had tea and biscuits, and got ready. At exactly 7:30 AM, we left. We were very excited to see the tea garden.The view along the way was very beautiful.
We reached Palampur through beautiful roads. We had heard about tea gardens in Ooty and Darjeeling before. When my husband told me about this tea garden, I got very excited. As we got closer, we started seeing tea gardens along the way, which made us very thrilled. When we reached the tea garden, there was a tea factory on one side and the garden on the other. It was a very beautiful view. We spent one hour there and clicked a lot of photos.
Since it was Sunday, the tea factory was closed, so we couldn't see the process of making tea from the leaves. We didn't realize how quickly an hour passed. My husband then asked us to leave. Then we set off for Sourav Van Vihar
Saurabh Van Vihar is a popular place in Palampur, located among beautiful mountains. It has a calm and peaceful environment with a clean, flowing river, adding to its natural beauty. Visitors can do many activities here, making it great for families.
When we reached Saurabh Van Vihar in half an hour, we first bought tickets. The river between the mountains had very clean and cold water, and we took many photos.
The park has an aquarium with many kinds of fish, which is fun and educational for both kids and adults.
There are also many activities for children, including boating and zip lining. Saurabh Van Vihar is a perfect mix of nature and fun, making it a must-visit spot in Palampur.
🌸🌼Saurabh Van Vihar is named in honor of Captain Saurabh Kalia, an Indian Army officer who was captured and tortured during the Kargil War in 1999. The park serves as a tribute to his bravery and sacrifice, and it aims to provide a place of peace and enjoyment for visitors.🌼🌸
You all should visit here too. We stayed for about one and a half hours and enjoyed it a lot. Then we left for Dehradun to go to my aunt's house. On the way, we talked about the tea garden and Saurabh Van Vihar. We reached Dehradun at exactly 10 PM, and our journey ended.
