I would rather live in Michigan in a lot of ways. The whole upper part of the mitten is gorgeous and Grand Traverse Bay is amazing as well as so many of the lakes up there. Crystal lake, Torch Lake.... Love it!
Yes! Those are some great areas! If you ever make it to the town of Bellaire, over by Torch Lake make sure you stop into Short's Brewing. One of the best in the state!
I will have to check it out sometime.
I feel that Northern Michigan living could be some of the cleanest living in the United States if someone was living off the land away from heavy agriculture.
