Yeah, I think the colors might have been better, but I also think the crowds would have even been larger. This is a pretty popular area for people to come and look at the leaves.

Must be special to witness, too many people would put a damper on the whole experience trying to be outdoors in the quiet.

Yeah, even this late in the season the parking lots were pretty full as you can see in the photos.

Makes me smile how everyone clambers to be there at specific time.

When it snows inland from us approximately 3 hour drive, many head up, calamity ensues with jammed roads, getting stuck, or nowhere to stop to enjoy. 🙃

I think stuff like that happens all over. Weekends around here are the same way with everyone on the road heading up North!

Before roads became hectic along with fuel prices we would visit a lot closer for day drives to different areas then hike and picnic.

Have been in the Berg with snowfall during week of annual leave, would never simply drive up for a day!
