As I told you in my previous post, Las Tunas is a land of poets. Several of the country's great writers were born here.
Historically, it has been a land of widespread reading and writing. Paradoxically, in the municipality of Las Tunas, there is only one state-owned bookstore. However, and this is what I'm here to show you, walking around the city, I have found several small bookstores with thousands of rare and used books.
Rare and used books are what we call here in my country books published several years ago. Books that can be up to 100 years old.
These bookstores are usually small and low-income, which sometimes gives them a mysterious air. Especially when we have to practically dig through piles of books until we find one we've perhaps been searching for for years.
In these bookstores, I've found copies of books I read during my childhood. first readings as a child.
Another added value of these rare and used book stores is the provision of literary reading spaces. Book and author presentations. They also sell hot drinks such as coffee and tea, as well as crafts and decorative objects.
All these qualities have made these bookstores a reference point and meeting place for young artists and intellectuals in the province.
So, if you want to talk about art and perhaps find some bibliographic treasures, these are the places you have to visit on your #trip.

Como les conté en mi post anterior, Las Tunas es una tierra de poetas. En ella han nacido varios de los grandes escritores del país.
Históricamente ha sido una tierra donde se lee mucho y se escribe mucho. Paradójicamente en el municipio de Las Tunas solamente hay una librería estatal. Sin embargo y es de lo que vengo a mostrarle, caminando la ciudad, he hallado varias librerías pequeñas con millares de libros raros y de uso.
Libros raros y de usos se le dice aquí en mi país a esos libros publicados varios años atrás. Libros que pueden tener hasta 100 años de haber salido de imprenta.
Por lo general estas librerías son pequeñas de bajos recursos económicos lo que le da ese aire misterioso en ocasiones. Sobre todo cuando tenemos que, prácticamente es excavar entre pilas de libros amontonados, hasta encontrar uno que quizás estuvimos buscando durante años.
En estas librerías he encontrado ejemplares de libros que leí durante mi infancia en aquellas primeras lecturas de niño.
Otro valor agregado que tienen estas librerías de libros raros y de usos es la realización de espacios literarios lecturas presentaciones de libros y autores. También se venden bebidas calientes como café té, así como manualidades y objetos decorativos.
Todas estas cualidades han logrado que estas librerías se conviertan en un punto de referencia y de reunión para los jóvenes artistas e intelectuales de la provincia.
Así que si quieres hablar de arte y quizás encontrarte algún que otro tesoro bibliográfico estos son los lugares a los que tienes que visitar en tu #viaje.
