Thank you for your kind words. A concrete example that explains a chemical equilibrium and very common is the synthesis of ammonia. N₂(g) + 3H₂(g) ⇌ 2NH₃(g)
Nitrogen and hydrogen react to form ammonia, but the reaction is reversible, so ammonia can also decompose into nitrogen and hydrogen. Note: in the chemical formula g = gas, I think I left this out in writing the article
