What a lovely, festive evening I just had!!
Stepping out and feeling that cool night air always hits just right but when you add the magic of Christmas lights? It's instant joy! 😍
Our town really knows how to put on a show this year..
My stroll led me to the main area and wow, the place was just glowing.. ✨
⛪️ First stop was the church..
Even in the dark the building looked so grand,, especially with the cross lit up on top..
It had this warm, cozy glow that made everything feel peaceful and special..
Then, I wandered over to our Provincial Capitol building..

It was decked out in lively green and white lights..
Right in front, the big "GUIMARAS" sign was shining bright green, making the whole park feel like a giant, cheerful Christmas park.. 😁
Seeing families and kids playing around the lights just made me smile,, it’s amazing how simple lights can make everyone feel so happy and connected..
🍢 Now the street food heaven 🍟😋
You know a Christmas event is good when the food stalls are lining up..
I was ready for some delicious local street food and this place did not disappoint..
The aroma of frying everything was just too good to resist.

Golden Fried Goodies
There were trays and trays of brightly colored snacks..
I saw those irresistible fish balls deep-fried and wonderfully crispy and some savory-looking squid rings..
The fries were sliced into perfect little sticks and looked so fresh and crispy..

The Skewer Selection..
I love a snack on a stick!!
There were white kikiam (a type of sausage/meat roll) skewers and bright yellow fish ball skewers, just waiting for a good dip in some sweet and spicy sauce..
It’s the perfect way to try a little bit of everything!

And to wash it all down,,
A refreshing mango graham shake!
That yellow color was almost as bright as the lights outside,, and those chewy pearls at the bottom were the perfect sweet ending to my food adventure..
If you haven't taken a walk through the Christmas displays in your town yet, you really should!!
Grab a friend, grab a snack and just enjoy the simple, beautiful chaos of the season..
