Para los argentinos, el mate (no la bebida, sino el recipiente) no es algo que se deje al azar, como pudiera ser el vaso para tomar agua. Yo lo veo como si fuera una extensión de su mano, por lo que debe ser especial y hasta ergonómico, así que comprar un mate no es algo que se haga por salir del paso.
En mi paseo por la ciudad de La Plata, me encontré esta tienda que me llamó la atención por las figuras, para luego darme cuenta que se trataban de mates bastante particulares, ya que combinaban la fascinación por las figuras de cómics y anime con esta tradicional bebida argentina.
Una estrategia de mercadeo local para vender un producto que usualmente lo vemos hecho de materiales simples, y que quizás busca acercar a la tradición a las nuevas generaciones, cosa que me parece genial.
¿Te habrías imaginado alguna vez compartir una bebida con Luffy (el de One Piece) o quizás con Naruto? En esta tienda pueden hacer tu sueño realidad (en parte), aunque también están otros personajes y otro tipo de mercancía, toda con el mismo estilo para coleccionistas o amantes del mundo anime.
Me llamó mucho la atención, ya que en otras tiendas de este estilo las protagonistas son las tazas, pero no había visto una en la que se vendieran mates como estos, por lo que aunque no lo tomo, la tentación de entrar y comprar alguno era enorme, el tema era elegir alguno, pues todos me gustaban.
Como el que toma mate es mi hijo mayor, de comprarlo sería para él, pero me entró la duda sobre sus preferencias en cuanto al diseño, ya que de niño hubiese querido seguro el de Pennywise, el payaso conocido como IT´s , pero ahora es amante del animé, así que mejor me contuve y solo documenté la vidriera para preguntarle en casa cual le gustaría tener, para regalárselo en su cumpleaños el mes que viene.
Para mi, me hubiese gustado tener el de Mike Wazowski, de Monster Inc o el de Toad , el honguito de Mario Bros. Y a ustedes, cual fue el que le gustó más?
