They say life is a game. I never understood that saying until this prompt came along.
Howdy Freewriters🤗. Welcome to my blog.
In every friendship there is always a leader; the one who calls the shots. The joystick. Sometimes the control is so minor that we often ignore it. I don't know if it's the fear of losing a friend or it's just living the 'let's go with the flow' life.
What's worse is, unlike the real games that come with rules that can't be bent, the friendship game mostly thrives on bending rules, with the leader always holding the upper hand. He says what goes, what stays. Sometimes even the leader doesn't know that he is the joystick; the friendship remote control.
When the joystick says; let's go left, no, let's stop, or let's just go right, the friends, just like the game characters, move along, with no hesitation. In many situations it leads us to peer pressure. And whenever questioned, the answer we give is so and so said we can do this or we should do this.
Maybe, somehow, we are wired like the games with the strong-willed ones as the joysticks.
Thank you for reading 😊.
