Commemorate. To remember. To honor. Could be an event. Could be a person.
Let's peek a little into the future. To the moment where you too will be among those who are being honored. What are you doing today to contribute to your future history? Will they, be it your immediate family, or friends, or the nation,or even the world at large, commemorate you?
Maybe it is that act of kindness towards that stranger that will make his/her whole generation forward to forever remember you. That helping hand that you will extend may save someone imprinting an honorable memory they will carry for life.
In my opinion, and I stand corrected, the major contributors to commemoration, is our virtues. Led by kindness and humanity. Although history remembers even the bad, for balance, I wanna be remembered for the good influence. I want to strive to make every space I occupy better than I found it; just as my mother always insist, "leave a place better than you found it."
