Cups are unique for drinking.
I guess it would be weird seeing someone using cup to do something else, maybe like eating. At least, I have seen folks using something other than cup to drink.
It is really comfortable using a cup, I guess that's why I it is in the shape it is and portable too. I know folks who carry their cups around especially those that have something inscribed on it. Best mom or best dad, stuff like that. They'll carry the cup with pride in front of their colleagues.
