Job hunting is not what is used to be in the past. You can't just craft a basic résumé and expert companies of repute to employ you. Interesting enough, the youth and those coming out of college know this and in the past they would have quickly turned to God for prayers and watch some killer YouTube videos about writing good résumés but not when Chatgpt came through.
Chatgpt, our knight and shining armor, lol. I tested chatgpt's ability to write a good résumé and it was nothing short of impressive. But reality is that, it made me look better than I actually am. Of course if you're asking it to randomly create a résumé for you, it'll sk you details about the job you're trying to get and the qualifications you have. Even if you don't lie about your skill sets, it'll still manage to make you look better than you actually are.
Present that to a company and they might just call you for an interview. That's when I think you may have a problem.
There's only so much chatgpt and other LLMs can do today. You don't expect chatgpt to go to the interview room with you and help you communicate to sound even close to what it testified about the in the résumé.
The point I'm making is that, regardless of what Chatgpt's abilities are, you will need to be smart and experienced on your own. It can take you to the company but I bet your ass it can't guarantee that you stay there.
The rule I always use with these AI models is that, if they can do something, it's a matter of time before companies don't need you for that.
The moment you realize chatgpt can do your job for you, you get excited and then you think about it the second time, realizing chatgpt can do your job for you so if your managers find out, they would ask why they're paying you thousands when a 24 dollar a month website can do it better.
