RE: 21 March 2026, Freewriters Community Daily Writing Prompt Day 3049 | Prompt: ferry across the River Of Death (travesía en transbordador por el Río de la Muerte)

What an interesting short piece! The tension and power dynamic between Head Master and Arthur is gripping. And if I had to choose sides, I'd pick Arthur's because Head Master is domineering and entitled for a person who doesn't know his way around Namibian desert. I admire that Arthur is not threatened by Head Master and can hold his ground. Let's hope Head Master behaves himself and doesn't get bitten by huge crocodiles and other predators!

Hello @kemmyb. Thanks for your visit. Head Master is like many who enjoys privileges and feels entitled, often displaying contempt for others. I think those type individuals do this to disguise their own weakness in an attempt to display superiority. The tour guide calmly handles the situation externally, holding is own doubts at bay. I just hope an animal is sighted, but doesn't get to become a fixture on Head Master's wall of conquests!

I appreciate your thoroughly analysis of the characters and situations. I was hoping for a comical approach to the dire situation they all found themselves in. Take care.
